YES!!!!!! Just like completing there robots most builders don’t get sufficient driving practice before an event. The best robots can loose to the
worst with poor driving. You should drive your robot enough to get a ‘feel’ for how it drives. Drive it on smooth floors and rough floors; try pushing
objects of similar weight. A few simple techniques that Team Wazio utilizes to improve our driving are pushing around a ball. If you are able to manipulate
the ball then chances are that you will be able to manipulate another robot. We also mark out squares on the ground. Drive to each side, turn left, turn right,
go fast and go slow. Then when you think you got it all down do it backwards!
